In a nod to the incredible movements that took place this year that tackled gun control and the #MeToo movement, this year's iftar is dedicated to honoring young activists under the age of 30 who have worked to advance human rights.
The Queens Unity Iftar is spearheaded by an independent committee of Muslims representing the diversity of Queens. Please come join us as we strengthen the community's cohesion, unity, and integrity by honoring Queens's unsung heroes. Program starts well before Maghreb and dinner ends in time to attend Tarawih.
